Conscious Consumerism

My thinking on Environmental issues is this: We need to go back to the wisdom humans had before we had machines, and then take that wisdom and intergrate it into the modern life we have at hand. This is definitely no simple task. But I see it happening all around. Natural Building, Organic Agriculture, Sustainable Communities.
It will take time to halt the damage we have done to our Mother Earth.
So Patience, is needed.
We have so much power in facilitating this process. So much more than we think. Those of us who live in a capitalistic culture have the power with each dollar that we earn and spend to make a change. We can choose to work for businesses and companies that have a triple bottom line, which includes the Earth's welfare, we can spend our money on those products and companies that support change.
A great website with many conscious products and businesses is Woddy Harrelson's click here
So go forth, warriors! Wield the sword (your dollar bill) out of it's sheath(your wallet) and think when you spend, is this product supporting the change we want to see?
