A cold place, but an eco-smart place


So, today I'd like to talk about their Garbage cans, or more precisely what's next to their garbage cans. At many Train Stations, in many countries in Europe, recycling bins are attached to their regular garbage cans. Three diffrent categories, I think they were glass, cardboard, and newspaper. What a concept, to let recycling be in the society's consciousness like that.

Also, In Germany, every home has a receptacle for compost. The government actually comes to pick up compost! Living in Hawaii, where the government doesn't even pick up newspaper, this was amazing to me.
Imagine how many tons of trash is being diverted from their landfills!
