Shopping from local boutiques where goods are created domestically is a good way to inject funds into the local economy.
Ask local shop keepers questions such as where was this good made, by whom, how much money would the craftsman have received for making it?
This philosophy can be transferred to local markets and food stalls where the best local produce can be purchased without the hefty price tags.
